I was wrong about the snow. It had stopped snowing for some time when I went to bed and the ground was mostly clear. When I awoke 8 hours later, there was half an inch or so of snow covering the ground. Parts of Salt Lake have 3-6 inches from lake effect snow. Not bad for an early snowstorm. It will make work interesting...and cold.
